Chance to win seat at 2009 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas

 

Carnival Cruise Lines is offering passengers a chance to win cash prizes and a seat at the 2009 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas in its "Wild Winners" Tournament.

The slot, blackjack and poker tournaments are being held on seven- to nine-day cruises running through October, ending in a grand final aboard Carnival's newest ship, the 3,006-passenger Carnival Splendor. The preliminary slot and blackjack tournaments each offer a cash prize of $2,500 (all figures U.S.). All first-place winners receive free balcony accommodation for two and free entry to the final event on Nov. 17.

The slot and blackjack finals will each offer $25,000 in cash prizes and the winner of the poker final will win a $10,000 seat to the 2009 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, plus $1,000 for travel expenses.
